It all began with an idea…
My husband and I met in 2014 and got married 6 months later. During these years, it has been a whirlwind of an adventure! He is an electrician by trade, and I am in the family business building cabinets and doing finishing. Together, we have some creative ideas and love to make them come alive! We bought this property over a year ago, and there was a casita which was a shed to begin with. We started forming up ideas of what this place potentially could be. So, to the Pinterest boards here we come! One day I saw on social media a woman decorating a bedroom for her vacation rental and I immediately fell in love with the feel of it: bright, white, open, rustic accents and a sage color blanket. That was our inspiration for the decor. Then next was coming up with the name for this casita… then it popped up, the sage color was part of the inspiration, and we grow sage all around New Mexico. So, it stuck, Sage Casita…
We are transforming this one-bedroom casita into a peaceful oasis, perfect for a couple’s getaway. We also are welcoming those traveling for business, traveling Doctors and Nurses, and those who are moving to the area and need a short-term rental. We are incredibly excited about this new chapter of our lives. So come along for the ride and stay awhile!
